In the year 2009 we purchased a property consisting of 20 acres of rubber plantation at a place called Elamdesam within the parish of Vettimattam in the diocese of Kothamangalam. The site is 50 kilometres away from Kappadu. A new monastery is blessed in the year 2014 and the community settled there on July 11th, on the Feast of St. Benedict. The community consists of three monks: Fr. Sheen Providence,Fr.Darress Uzhithinamalayil and Fr. Binny puthupallil . Fr. Sheen is the Superior Fr. Darees is the Superior and  incharge of the Estate. Fr. Binny is Assisting the Fr. Darees and studing Italian.
